I've switched to Sky Broadband recently which could be installed after 3 attempts somehow. And now the connection keeps dropping out every 2-3 minutes and takes a while to reconnect. Every time I called Sky they keep telling me it's a known issue in the area and someone's working on it (I checked the sky services status, nothing wrong in the area).

My internet is currently below the guaranteed limit. Also the internet keeps dropping from all my devices. it will be working fine and then the next minute it may be really slow for a period of time. obviosuly I have a guaranteed internet speed and this isn't being adhered to. i have completed

I rang up Sky to see what the problem could be and they said for us to change the micro filter which we did, I got given the new Sky Hub by a friend and still the broadband keeps losing connection.

The new TP link system is constantly good giving me above 35-40 mbps all across the house over wireless , the sky network is constantly still dropping out and am only getting between 0 and 20mbps over wireless this includes the 3 sky boosters we have which are supposed to help and keep the signal boosted. Yes you can still use the old hub, just make sure it connects to your Q box. Might be worth calling Sky if you've done all throubleshooting and they can investigate further. This has been since I had sky broadband (1 and a half year). Some time ago a technician came and said it was the cable, but even if I changed it 3 times it only gets worse. I really need a reliable internet connection now to work from home and it's impossible to contact sky due to covid-19. My connection keeps dropping every 5-10 minutes.
